Pacifiers Suck!

So Ben just turned two. This pacifier thing is going to be the end of me. We were doing so good and he was just using it at night to go to bed. Then Abigail came along and he has regressed. Totally our fault, I know. So now we are back to "Night night" time only. But he was still taking Abigail's pacifier during the day. Now we have started leaving hers in her room as well. We figure this will help everyone out. He won't be upset because she has one and she won't be upset because he took hers and we won't be frustrated from all the yelling and crying between the two of them. This is such a long process. I wish we had him weaned before she was born. Can't change the past though, right? Anyway, I will get to the story now. Lol! This kind of goes with Sarah's post about promises. Or maybe my son is just a smart butt like his Momma. What? So, the other day Ben grabbed Abigail's pacifier and when I asked him for it he ran to his room. When I walked in there I told him he could only have it if he was going Night Night. I should probably tell you that it's 5:00pm at this point. So what does the goober do? He hops right on in his bed, lays down and says "Night Night!" Then proceeds to fake snore. Lol! I love him and his little smart butt.

  2. Smart kid. With Alexis it took two days. We only let her have one and she ended up biting a hole in it, so we cut the rest of the tip off and told her she broke it. Two nights of crying and it was over. Thank God she was easy!
